A1Fares.org is an independent, USA-based travel agency that helps customers compare and reserve train tickets through third-party rail carriers and/or global distribution systems. We are not a rail carrier and we are not affiliated with Amtrak® or any other carrier.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use our services. By booking with us, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted.

3. Bookings and Reservations

All bookings made through A1Fares.org are subject to availability, applicable carrier terms, and confirmation. Fares displayed on our website or quoted by our agents are indicative until the booking is fully confirmed and payment is processed.

• Once a booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation by email containing your itinerary and any applicable booking reference number.
• It is your responsibility to verify that all passenger names, travel dates, stations, and other details on the confirmation match your travel needs and identification documents.
• Any errors must be reported to us within 4 hours of receiving the confirmation by calling (888) 705-2999.

4. Pricing, Fees and Payment

Ticket prices are determined by the rail carriers and may change without notice based on availability, fare class, route, and time of booking. In addition to the carrier fare, A1Fares.org may charge a service fee for assisted booking, itinerary management, and customer support. All applicable charges will be disclosed before you confirm payment.

• All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
• By providing your payment information, you authorize A1Fares.org and/or its payment processor to charge the total amount displayed.
• You agree not to dispute or chargeback any authorized payment without first contacting us to resolve the matter.

5. Changes, Cancellations and Refunds

Change and cancellation rules are set by the rail carrier and the specific fare you have booked. Some fares are fully refundable, while others are partially refundable or non-refundable. Service fees charged by A1Fares.org are generally non-refundable. Please review our Refund Policy for complete details.

6. Travel Documents and Identification

You are responsible for ensuring that you and all passengers carry valid government-issued photo identification and any other documents required by the carrier or applicable authorities. A1Fares.org is not responsible for any denial of boarding or travel disruption resulting from missing or invalid documentation.

7. Use of Website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the website. Prohibited behavior includes (but is not limited to):

• Submitting false or fraudulent booking or payment information.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the website, server, or related systems.
• Using automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to collect data, fares, or content from the website.
• Posting or transmitting any unlawful, harmful, threatening, or otherwise objectionable content.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on A1Fares.org — including text, logos, graphics, design, and software — is owned by or licensed to A1Fares.org and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our prior written consent. Third-party trademarks (including Amtrak®) remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Third-Party Carriers

A1Fares.org acts as an intermediary between you and the rail carrier. The actual transportation services are provided by the rail carrier, and those services are subject to the carrier's own terms and conditions, including conditions of carriage. A1Fares.org is not responsible for delays, cancellations, missed connections, lost baggage, or any other issues that occur during your travel.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, A1Fares.org, its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of our services. Our total aggregate liability for any direct claim shall not exceed the service fees you paid to A1Fares.org for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless A1Fares.org and its representatives from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which A1Fares.org is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in the United States.
